Economic destruction! Barry won because the 2008 election was anti-republican. It wasn't pro-Barry! |

I think it's a vast improvement over what we endured for the past eight years. "Critical race theory " isn't an issue. We are a nation - a melting pot - of people from various cultures, different races, and numerous religions. Obama's impact has been positive around the world as he obviously instills trust, brings integrity, and seems willing to compromise on critical global issues. My prediction is that he will go down in history as one of America's best-ever Presidents [Bush, of course, will go down in history as the worst U.S. President ever - to date]. -RKO- 04/ 18/ 09 |

Frankly, race did not play as much a part in his election as did the overall mood of the Country at the time of the election. Granted, Mr. Obama is of black heritage, but had he been the nominee of the GOP would he/ could he have won? I think not. Granted, he is very charismatic and a good speaker (with his teleprompter) but he really is not all articulate otherwise. He was the Democratic party nominee in an election year which was not a good year for any Republican nominee. I wonder if Ronald Regan could have won in that year? I do not see race as an issue any more than I see religion as an issue. Look back to JFK - a Catholic. A whole heck of lot more comes into play than skin colour or religion. |

As a Kenyan, he is constitutionally ineligible to be U.S. President. |
